Washington’s 2026–27 men’s basketball schedule now has the local dates fans need to plan around: a 20-game Big Ten slate split evenly between 10 games at Alaska Airlines Arena and 10 on the road.

The Huskies open conference play Dec. 2 at USC, then host UCLA on Dec. 13 after a nonconference home game with Southern Utah. The December arrangement puts Big Ten basketball on the Seattle calendar before the new year.

The conference home calendar

Washington’s other league home games include Indiana on Jan. 9, Nebraska on Jan. 13, Northwestern on Jan. 20 and Rutgers on Jan. 30. February brings USC, Illinois and Purdue to Seattle, with the schedule concluding at home against Oregon on March 6.

The Oregon date completes a scheduled series after the Huskies play in Eugene on Feb. 7. Washington’s final road game is March 2 at Iowa, making the Oregon matchup the regular-season home finale.

A separate Climate Pledge Arena date

The Dec. 19 matchup with Baylor is not part of the Big Ten schedule and will not be played at Alaska Airlines Arena. It is set for Climate Pledge Arena as part of the inaugural Seattle Holiday Classic, according to Washington Athletics.

The school says its season-ticket package includes the Baylor game, while a dedicated ticket offer is also available for the event. The announcement did not set tip times for the league games, so television windows and start times remain to be added.

What the schedule does—and does not—signal

This is a confirmed college-basketball calendar, not an NBA arena announcement. The Baylor game is a one-date event at Climate Pledge Arena; the release does not alter the facility’s other tenants or make any NBA-expansion claim.

For Seattle-area fans, the immediate value is a clear list of league home dates, an early December start to conference play and a regional rivalry game with Oregon positioned as the final regular-season home event.
